Pail Of Tadpoles: K - 3rd Grade

Frogs start as tadpoles and so do our theatre kids! Pail of Tadpoles offers theatre classes for Kindergarten through 3rd grade in the spring and fall to introduced the basics in 11-week long sessions which include fun, hands-on activities. At the end, Tadpoles present a production as part of “The Pond.”

Each semester costs $50, with tickets available for the final show.

Tadpoles meet every Tuesday from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm.
Registration for the Spring semester will begin on February 24th, 2026.
First day of Fall semester is March 10th, 2026.
Spring Break is April 6th-10th, 2026
Final class is May 12th, 2026
Performance is May 16th, 2026 at the ANNEX
Basket of Froglets: 4th - 7th Grade

This fun group is for 4th grade through 7th grade Froglets (which, in nature, are not quite frogs) will participate in more challenging activities, preparing them to for the last step, Box of Frogs.

Box of Frogs: 8th - 12th Grade

Box of Frogs is the Young Actors’ Guild for Playhouse in the Park. This very active group of 8th through 12th grade frogs create part of the backbone of our community theatre. Whatever a person’s ability or knowledge of theatre, there is a welcome place for you in Box of Frogs. Writing , producing cabarets, developing and leading drama workshops at a local elementary school, hosting workshops for children, and producing full stage productions. In July, 2016, the Box of Frogs traveled to New York City, where they participated in theatre workshops and saw three Broadway shows, including HAMILTON and ALADDIN!
